HERE IS ANOTHER THING

Happy Birthday (again) Ree:

We made a lil vid for Neebs while we were away. Bare in mind we did this on an iPhone with lame internet connection so apologies for the general quality. Ahhhh well. Click here.

ALSO, here are the semi-proffesh pics from Bye Bye Birdie:
Photo bomb level: Mae Peterson.
(Spanish Rose)

Jamie as my emotionally and socially crippled son Albert.

The whole cast

The whole cast looking sexual.

I just like touching his face.

finale.

Sorry babies

OK SO I TOOK A BREIF HIATUS, IM SORRY FOR ACTUALLY LIVING MY LIFE INSTEAD OF BLOGGING ABOUT IT SPORADICALLY LIKE BEFORE. ITS NOT MY FAULT I SWEAR IT!
Ok so it's my fault entirely. I don't know what happened. If you're reading this now it means either i've told you my new blog post is up directly and forced you to read it so I can live off your validation OR you haven't lost faith in me entirely and have checked up on my shenanigans of your own accord. Either way, I thank you whole heartedly.
I can't even think about how long its been or how much I need to fill you in on, so i'll give it a stab and if i've missed anything then TOUGH. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. THAT WAS YOUR MISTAKE AND I CANT HELP YOU THERE, LOSER.
Sorry, I don't mean to keep getting so defensive.

So I went to California! My darling big bro took a gander across the atlantic, stayed with me in NY for a few days and then we sallied forth to Cali for the rest of spring break.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then here is a dissertation:

Dis is oatmeal. I was craving one day because it my dad eats it all the time that way, with bananas and brown sugar so it felt like a lil bit of home.

But back to Cali. I went to Penn Stationto collect Ham and we was hungry.

Super happy to see him

Probably the single cutest photo we've ever taken together. We only had a few days in NY and we wanted to see everything we could.

I was so eager to impress ma big bro, show him the big apple etc and of course it pissed it down with rain. I blame Hamish for bringing the weather with him from home... but he was SUCH  a good sport and was dutifully amazed and such at the bits I could show him.

Yes I am making a face in every photo.

So I sent the adorable photo from before to my dearest pall Georgie and she sent back THIS photo with the same caption! I thought that was so cool, that there I was hanging out with my bro in NYC and a thousand miles away our life long friends were doing the SAME THING.

I think this marks my realisation that Hamish is actually addicted to coffee. But the coffee at this place was SO GOOD I kinda gottit.

I ALSO FAN GIRLED SO HARD AT CARA DELEVINGNE IN TIMES SQUARE

Top of the rock

Unimpressed.

Ok not really

We had a shopping day and went to Crumbs. Everyday was SO TIRING but this was our shopping day. Neebs' birthday was coming up and she was bummed that she couldn't join us on our adventure across the US so we were determined to get her a rockin gift.

Beauty

Best breakfast ever

Stanford was also beauteous.

We saw the redwoods also.

We hung out in the hot tub, drinking tea and reading the New Yorker. I am wearing a bikini.

Alcatraz was deceptively tame

The view was cool though

We cycled across the Golden Gate Bridge, the coolest thing, I would do it again but wear more attractive clothing...

We ate at this restaurant on our last night and I can't remember what it's called but its famous, especially for sourdough.
We talked about 42 and our waiter was cool. Then we said gooobyeeeee to SanFran and flew to LAX.

We also went to Knotts Berry Farm with the wonderful Zannah and co. We had sexy fast, zippy, go to the front of the line passes thing and we felt like royalty. THEN WE WENT TO DISNEY!

I GOT MY FACE PAINTED AND I LOVED IT AND WISHED IT DIDNT WASH OFF

badass princess

we ate a whole turkey leg.

We saw the Hollywood sign... see it? Its right there? Waaaaaay in the back. Near the clouds.

We were staying in Santa Monica, and hung out on the pier one night. It was also so much fun, we were in the arcade for hours, wasting time and money but loving it. There should songs written about that shit.

another crackin breakfast.

We went to Warner Bros. BECAUSE UNIVERSAL IS MAINSTREAM

We saw Venice beach as well. loved it.

I bought this ring as a souvenir because the stars and planets represent a reminder of the universe and our place as humans in the world. LOLJK IT WAS CUTE AND CHEAP.

There ends our adventure. I flew back to JFK all alone and Ham went back to London.  On the subway back in the smallest hours of all of the mornings, the sky looked this way.

Snapchattin alla da bitches after seeing Will Norris Grey of all people pop up. I took him to my fave chinease restaurant and marvelled at how small this world is.

Neebs loved her prezzies
So, that is spring break loosely covered, now onto the rest of the things that I did...

BBB FOREVER <3
(Thats darling Khalid as Conrad Birde. Our characters developed a special relationship throughout the process that just got increasingly sexual)
The spring musical was Bye Bye Birdie and I was cast as Mae Peterson. It was so much fun, doing what I love with people I love. Performance week was a mile stone for me, and I am so proud of what we achieved together. It was all so emotional and I cried like a bitch during my speech. It felt like my swansong for a time. Then I remembered that I have a whole month and a bit left and that I simply must make the best of it while I can.

The sexual Mikey as Rose

Packer has been involved in the Cambodia arts festival throughout this month, in connection to Arn Chorn Pond and the book Never Fall Down that I read as part of a collective study a few months back. It was incredibly moving and inspired me to want to go to Cambodia one day and see it for myself. I'm sure i've mentioned it before but you should read it if you can. The Khmer Arts Ensemble was incredible, it told a story of a crocodile and...other things... it's hard to explain, but they are reclaiming a lost culture and celebrating old stories told for years. I especially loved that it centred around the role women play in their culture, and was performed by an all female cast.

This is Santa the frog. Hamish and I won him during our arcade binge.
Hamish: "What shall we name it?"
Me: "first thing you see, right now, that's it's name"
He saw a trash can with 'Santa Monica Pier- keep it clean' or some such, so we called it Santa.
Week later, he sends me this snap, I loved our trip so much and this a cool reminder so i screen shotted it and made it my background for ages.

I also went to The Chip Shop for the first time, an all english pub on Atlantic Ave. ironically, had my first fried snickers. It was too good.

After these two sent me this snap, I GOT HOOKED.

Another one of my fave snap chats. The reasons behind this are still yet to be disclosed.

Hanging out at pier 6

I got a haircut!
This is supposed to be a before and after shot like in those haircare commercials.

I know this is backwards but its a sticker I wore for the LGBT day of silence to raise awareness.

Lovely.

Senior Skip day 2013, one of the most glorious days we've had yet.

Went to Williamsburg, for some prom dress shopping. So stressful.
*Tilly Woodhouse's D

Saw Alan Cumming in a one man rendition of Macbeth. It was incredible. Never before have I been so emotionally involved in one man's performance. He is wildly talented.

Just look at her beautiful face
We also went to see Julius Caesar at BAM, performed by the RSC but set in modern day, war torn South Africa, but I took no photos. It was also very good, and Paterson Joseph, who played Brutus carried the whole show. It wasn't until the intermission that I realised he plays Lyndon Jones in my favourite ever show Green Wing.
Mind. Blown.

I can't think of anything else at the moment, so you'll have to suffice.
BE GOOD.
